I am just returning to yoga after a few years of not being able to use my body much. I wanted something genital and that I will build with. I took a class many years ago but mostly have learnt from a book. 🙂 I read when I was 19 and it has helped me recover through so many discords in my life . I was happy to come across your channel and your teaching style will be most helpful. The positions with in the poses really helped switch on the awareness and intention. I have friends who teach yoga I have asked questions and learnt from them but the details with in a pose is so important. Then intention of the details is helpful also. Look forward to joining soon.
I have M.E/CFS and haven’t done yoga in years since I use to attend classes specifically for my condition. I’m currently having a really bad flare up and finding your videos are helping me find myself again- I used to be a dancer and now I can’t do any of it which has really got me at a loss- through your videos I’m finding my inner strength again❤

Hey everyone! I am still here after 5 months of practice ever day! My twist is pretty good, my upper thigh almost parallel to earth, my posture is much better, I feel great and mostly having fun. i got 14 minutes in and realized downward dog is way harder than i remember. or maybe im just heavier than i used to be, haha. i think ill come back to this in a couple days when im not already sore from random backaches and see if i can get all the way through! my mom did a lot of yoga when i was a kid so i remember hearing a lot of these terms and practicing myself but i dont think i got particularly far—the yoga videos she used moved way too fast

How effective do you think it can be in mental illnesses? How many years has she been doing yoga and has she recovered? Of course, apart from yoga, I also exercise. Because I have dysthymia, I am aware of the benefits of yoga and I started it again several months ago. I just want to see how other people's experiences have been. What effect did it have on your depression and anxiety?
