another leg day went absolutely in on this set and this what you need to start a leg day if you’re not starting where your heart’s going beating out of your chest you’re not sweating it’s probably not going to be the best leg day it might be but personally I like to get it going from the beginning and you know I’ve never thought that I would say this but I actually picked up Hobby outside the gym it stemms from the gym I switched my cardio from stair Master to bike and I just fell in love with the bike I feel like I get a super nice leg pump so I’ll start a leg session with like 5 minutes of cardio been doing that for about a week and just it was overall really good but I actually just ordered a like a road bike so I’m not going to switch over over to be like a hybrid athlete or whatever but last video was bitching about it being so damn hot and being a lot of mosquitoes in Florida but highly doubt a mosquito can catch you on a bike and when you’re riding fast wind’s blowing we not going to be too hot so do have a new hobby it’s first time I’ve ever said that and we’re going to see how it goes hopefully it helps my leg legs grow but if it doesn’t at least I got a little stress Rel but but saying we got a leg do today uh start off adductors hamstr curl want to do leg extension leg press pendulum RDL hip press the calves so it’s eight movements going to try to hit two top set each if something feels really good I’m going to ride it out for a little bit just stick with that you have a super good connection with something I think you just keep going with it but start off on a high note and it’s going be a good leg day so last like day I had like a little weird click of my knee on this machine so I have a little PTSD from it not going to go as heavy probably cut it I’ll cut it down probably half the weight that I was doing but going to keep it super light a bunch of reps get some nice blood flowing in the quads and then it’s going to Prime us for little pendulum so not trying to get hurt again that [ __ ] [ __ ] sucks [Music] ready you [Music] [Music] look [Music] go [Music] go come on come on so I think this is going to sound super cheesy but I think a leg day is what really separate somebody from just like coming in here and moving some weights and like actually training so I saw this I heard this one quote few days ago and it was like if you don’t take yourself serious how are other people going to take you serious and you know especially on a day like today training one of the hardest body parts to train if you’re just in here and Lolly gagging like not really putting in the work one subconsciously you’re not going to take yourself serious and all the other people around you you know people aren’t really in the gym watching other people train but but you definitely notice some things that you hanging out in here so they’re going to see that you’re not [ __ ] training and if that’s not enough motivation to actually hit a leg day hard I really don’t know what it is because I don’t I don’t want to be known as the guy that you know comes in here and just [ __ ] off for two hours and leaves so little change of perspective always helps but yeah tell to be honest I had like a little Epiphany uh probably like day or two ago on the couch it was like late at night and I saw that it was like somebody’s story I was like holy [ __ ] like I really don’t take myself serious with a few things um but there’s always time to change but uh right now we’re on hip press and I did this last week and it felt amazing super easy on the hips feel all on the quads not too much in the knees and it’s just overall really good movement a lot of gyms don’t have this but if you do should definitely use it um it’s going to be a [ __ ] right after a pendulum but you know like I just said here the train so somebody’s got to do it [Applause] it’s too late I tried to make it work for weeks I still care for you I want the very best for you but I can no longer be there for youy like [Music] hey walk [Music] head I think we’re good it yeah well sh’s light as [ __ ] see all right so I got a bike I had a shower after I took that out of the box was absolutely sweating but I do the majority of my cardio um on a stationary bike or that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing for the past like month now is stationary bike and I think it’s perfect cuz you get a leg pump like a crazy leg pump and a fasted leg pump in the morning is just absolutely amazing um helps the knees a little bit and your heart rate doesn’t go too crazy like if you’re on the stairs I feel like your heart just shoots up and if you’re on prep on the stairs uh you can lose a lot of the mass in your leg so that’s why I think uh during a prep it’s more optimal to do like a treadmill like a light bike something like that but we got the road bike it’s actually road gravel bike so I’m going to do pretty much the same [ __ ] but um just outside now cuz I was running that at the gym and I would take [ __ ] 40 minutes driving back and forth from the gym in the morning and then going back there later in the day so big rain move saved some time but I also spent a [ __ ] ton of money on this bike I didn’t realize how expensive Road biking was until I started buying everything I got the bike a fit helmet pedals shoes like a few add-ons and that [ __ ] is just like it’s steep I don’t even want to talk about about the price but we got uh like I said we got a bike now had to match the car that gunmetal gray but I’m not hybrid I’m still strictly bodybuilding I’m never going to be hybrid this is literally just cardio outside so I can enjoy the Flor the sun anyways that was leg day and honestly a really good one too I’m about to eat a bunch of food leg days are usually High days so I get a bunch of carbs some more fats protein stays pretty much the same throughout all my training days but today we get to eat a little bit more and I love that bul is going well still I plateaued um um still at 209 I’ve been at 209 for like 2 or 3 days now um so I think the food might have to go up even more but that’ll be very interesting I’m excited to see how big we can get this off season so hopefully the bike keeps us a little lean but thank you for watching really appreciate it um dropping videos Wednesday Sunday from now on so that is going to be the schedule
