[Music] [Music] [Music] for [Music] [Music] all right so if you follow me on Instagram I posted raw’s new Citrus grapefruit pre and I usually don’t like grapefruit and this is where I said in the story is that I just think grapefruit is too bitter as like a fruit by itself I have to cover in sugar to actually enjoy eating it like I’ll eat it if I have to but I don’t really get enjoyment from eating grapefruits but this pre it’s like you get the taste of grapefruit without the bitterness and you also get like a little splash of like either like some sort of citrus like an orange or Tangerine something like that it’s just a great combo and that’s dropping on Friday which I believe is going to be uh tomorrow by the time this video is released but um overall great Prix absolutely love it 11:59 a.m. get to Raw nutrition website and use kovon to save some money on pre but anyways we have another chess day today and uh I started off my day a little bit whack I got a haircut this morning came to cardio uh had my pre-meal and we’re jumping right into a lift but I feel like I’m at the point where cardio has always been like a bit of a struggle for me like the past you know 3 or 4 weeks it’s been like I have to wake up and drag myself to go do cardio but now I’m waking up like for the past few days even when I was on vacation in Ohio waking up and doing cardio it’s now just like an unconscious thing that I’m doing because I changed my identity from being somebody who is forced to do cardio to somebody who enjoys cardio and uh you know it just got a lot easier after doing it a lot and telling myself that I’m the type of person that does cardio you know and obviously it’s still hard when you’re doing it but it’s just a lot more enjoyable now I’m doing it with a purpose and I can see the good uh this coming from cardio so make sure you get your cardio in at least 30 minutes a day get your steps in um but yeah we have chess today took pre had a preal and overall it should be a good [Music] Chet [Music] [Music] w okay so if you feel your chest and you fall along to see where the insertion point is you can actually feel that it attaches to somewhere almost right above the bicep and that stretch that I was the stretch I was just doing where not only stretches your bicep out but I do feel a little it’s a nice stretch it’s not a little stretch it’s a nice stretch right in that top portion so if if you feel like you have bicep pain it actually might be your chest but for this movement finishing up here going to do two top sets I want to sit somewhere between you know 12 and 15 reps get a really nice squeeze and then I’ll finish with some sort of like Drop set back off and then I’ll just move on to the next movement but the goal here I just want to get as much blood as I can into my chest so might even sit here and squeeze or Flex my chest at the end just pump as much as I can into it [Music] [Applause] e [Applause] oh okay [Music] [Music] sh [Music] ah okay so that wasn’t a PR but it was a decently heavy top set and for all those sets I turn on the same exact song no matter what I’m training no matter what time of day it could be 6:00 in the morning and it’s called [ __ ] hold up it’s called my flaws burn through my skin from uh suicide boys okay my flaws burn through my skin like demonic Flames from hell that’s what it’s called but it gets me locked into the Zone every single time it’s a great song um and I always wait for this one part where the Beat Drops and it’s like I turn into a different person my mental just like completely switches and you know it’s like that zone of [ __ ] do this or die and it’ll I promise you it’ll get you through any set so one of the most important things with trying to lose weight or if you’re trying to cut down obviously you got to do your cardio but another huge thing that’s like very overlooked is counting your steps and making sure you get uh adequate amount of steps per day and I have this little podometer and if you don’t want to spend $200 on a watch or you know something like that you can get this I think it was like 15 bucks on Amazon and my daily step goal is 7500 which I get about 3500 from uh my cardio on the stairs and then I do a morning walk which is about 1,500 steps and it’s not anything crazy but you know right there that’s already little quick math 5,000 steps so by the end of the day I only need to get 2500 more so I really try to like just milk it out a little bit if I can if I can get days where it’s like 10,000 to 15,000 if I’m really moving it uh it shows a lot because even the next morning I’ll wake wake up and I’ll feel like I usually feel like morning skinny but I’ll feel super morning skinny and just like really tight on those days that I do get more steps and uh you know that’s overall getting your steps in that’s going to that’s what’s going to help you burn fat and just movement in general it doesn’t even have to be overall cardio if you’re doing anything outside like I watched this show uh 100 years to live on Netflix and the areas where people live the longest are in villages or just smaller towns where there’s not a lot of access to uh Transportation or they just places where you really need to uh either work outside or you have to do a lot of manual labor by yourself and obviously they’re doing that through walking places or just doing the labor themselves so that’s just movement right there and uh you know this is the [ __ ] I just reset it I was at was just at 5,000 but now I’m at 4 I’m at 49 now so [ __ ] um anyways on to the prime press really trying to get a nice squeeze here pump a lot of blood into the chest and you know I’m just going failure on this just like I was on failure with the dumbbells this is complete failure since I’m not going as [Music] heavy [Music] [Music] right [Music] last set I’m going to drop the weight a little bit and I’m going to do a stretch pause I haven’t done a stretch pause for chest in a minute but basically I’m going to do a set of 10 and then I’m going to just sit in the fully stretch position for about 10 seconds and I’ll I’ll repeat that three times so by the end of my third set my chest is going to be cooked and you know I don’t even know if I’ll be able to get it completely but if I’m doing partials on that last set I’ll be happy with [Music] [Applause] [Music] it [Music] [Music] oh oh [ __ ] y oh this is heavy oh I should have dropped it a little more a [ __ ] I was on 290 and I only dropped it 210 so still a bit heavy okay yep 2 3 [Music] 4 okay I didn’t do a single rep on that last one oh put those partials really get you that’s what I wanted right there that was a good set should have dropped a little bit more just so that last set was like actual full reps but I think I got the job done Bo put it at work oh [Music] [ __ ] oh [ __ ] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] God [Music] okay [Music] come on all right [Music] all [Music] right so this is your first set but a little pointer that or yeah I guess it would be a pointer something that I’ve been following a lot with curls is obviously there’s a top of the movement and the bottom of the movement and when I’m at the bottom I like to squeeze my tricep because it puts a little extra stretch on your bicep and from there feel like it’s almost really easy to feel that connection with at least my muscle connection when you’re trying to curl back up because the tension’s already there so pretty light for a set but probably work up to something decently [Music] heavy [Music] [Music] there okay [Music] he [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay you can also that ver [Music] this [Music] [Music] oh okay so I got a little post-workout meal right here headed to the office I usually have my post-workout meal about 30 minutes after I train but it’s been about an hour now so I’m a bit hungry but something I’ve been doing lately is separating my rice from the rest of my meal so right here I have 210 G of chicken 45 G of calamada olives for fats and I threw in a little kimchi just because it’s really good for uh digestion it’s good probiotic but I don’t think anything beats some freshly cooked freshly salted just plain jasmine rice it’s a beautiful flavor and I don’t want to disrupt that with this you know whatever slop I have right here but I was thinking about it in my car ride over here I’m packing my meals I’m wearing a little stepper on my waist and I’m setting like all these rules and like boundaries for myself and at first I at first glance I thought it was like a negative thing like I’m restricting myself and not doing the things that I could have easily went and got a Five Guys burger and enjoyed every second of that but uh I was thinking about it for a little bit and these rules that you set through your day-to-day lives and just you know if you want to accomplish something you got to you got to stick to some sort of rule and just by doing that following these rules you’re going to be able to live a Fuller and just like more complete life while accomplishing the things that you want to do so if you have a hard time like sticking to rules or like listening to other people um you just got to realize and like it’s pretty much just a ego thing but rules to an extent certain rules they will allow you to just live a better life so you know I don’t know what it is about chicken and olives but it’s delicious and bro my meal combinations lately have been crazy like I’ll just mix in like my blueberries my yogurt my chicken I’ll just mix it all together and it since it all goes to the same place I really don’t mind and I’m eating some pretty basic stuff right now so you know a little flavor from blueberry never hurt but overall good chest day can’t complain there’s nothing better than chest and biceps and then some fresh jasmine rice and I get a cheat meal tomorrow so it’s a beautiful thing I’m very excited for it but thank you
